1. Fees are charged on a daily rate which includes the day of arrival. Collection must be made prior to 10am on day of departure, after which the cost will include full day.  All prices include VAT.

 

2. By choosing to board your pets with us, this will be deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.

 

3. Any cancellation not notified within 48 hours of commencement of the booking will be liable for payment of 50% of the total booking value.

4. Any customer failing to honour a booking without notification will be liable for payment in full. We reserve the right to cancel any future bookings held.

5. Payment of the amount due can be made by way of cheque or cash and must be paid on arrival, unless otherwise agreed with management. Returned payments and/or late payment will incur administration charges.

 

6. Pets will not be released until the balance is paid in full. Owners will be liable for any additional boarding costs incurred.

 

7. Pets arriving late will be charged from the original date of booking unless prior notification is provided. 

 

8.It is emphasised whilst every care and attention is given, the proprietors accept no responsibility for injury due to your pet(s) behaviour whilst boarded in our kennels and cattery. Should your pet cause damage to the boarding facilities, you may be liable for costs incurred to repair said damages.

9. All pets must be fit, in sound condition, and of pleasant disposition when entering Valley Forge Boarding kennels. In the event of your pet falling ill during boarding we reserve the right to call in a veterinary surgeon. All costs to be borne by the owner. This will include all Veterinary call out charges, transportation etc. It is the owners responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient funds to cover this.

 

10. The proprietors reserve the right to turn away any pet which they feel is not suited to be boarded.
Please note: Pets showing signs of kennel cough or any other contagious diseases will be turned away.

 

11. Should your pet require food during their stay, the food provided is supplied by a long standing manufacturer and is suitable for all types of dogs. This service will incur an additional cost.  It is preferable that you provide your pets usual food to prevent tummy upsets and ensure they will eat.

12. Dogs are taken out 4 times daily on a one to one basis unless boarded together.

 
13.  No pet will be accepted into the kennel without a UK emergency contact name, address and contact number.

14. Owners/contacts will be asked to remove difficult dogs from the kennels. Owners must make emergency contacts aware of this responsibility

15. Please note that, unless informed prior to the date of departure,we are unable to release pets to third parties.
 

16. Owners are liable for any damages inflicted upon staff or property by their pet(s).

17. Should payment not be made and breach of contract pursued, the owner will be responsible for all legal fees incurred.

 

18. Management have the right to refuse custom, at our discretion. We will always attempt to work with you and your pets to ensure everyone’s safety.

19. If an animal is not collected within 5 days of its departure date and no communication from the owner or their agent has been received and our efforts to contact the owner have failed, Valley Forge Kennels reserve the right to treat such animals as having been abandoned and to take the necessary steps to have the animal removed from our premises and dealt with appropriately. The animal’s owner will be liable for any additional expenses incurred
